How does the solution work?
User experience

Users sign up for service with the mobile wireless access service provider
•
The provider issues an authentic and secure PIN code for them to log in the provider’s network (upon payment)
•
Subscribers preset their user name/password combinations in their wireless devices (cell phones, PDAs, laptops etc.)

Subscribers gain access the Internet from any location within the boundaries of the wireless network
Service provider experience
•
Accesspoint receives admission request via 801.g 2.4Ghz band from a wireless device within its physical proximity
•
The Accesspoint transmits the admissions request via 5Ghz uplink to Access Controller
•
The Access Controller receives the admission request and sends request for authorization to ISP Billing server
•
The ISP Billing server verifies account privileges, grants/denies device access and starts session billing if necessary (e.g. for business models with per minute user billing)
•
The ISP Billing server sets the proper Dynamic Firewall rules in the Access Controller and issues an IP address to the wireless device via DHCP protocol
•
The wireless device connects to the Internet via the gateway
•
The Accesspoint manages the wireless device session dynamically and can terminate any session based on time, bandwidth or administrative action
